Introduction:
Lycanthropy is a werewolf romance visual novel with a lesbian focus that incorporates themes of mystery and horror. It is set in the Devil’s Jawbone, a mythical mountain range, sometime around the 1780s. Additionally, Beauty and the Beast serves as a loose inspiration.
Belle Durchdenwald is a bookworm and socially awkward introvert who struggles with recurrent nightmares about the event that altered her life’s course. Her life is abruptly upended as a string of strange occurrences ruin her wedding day, leading to the realization of her darkest nightmare.
Everything seemed to be going south until a large werewolf who goes by the name “Otsana the Lone” carries her away from her destiny. As past bonds are thrown into jeopardy and new connections begin to crystallize, she is forced to come to terms with not only her newfound identity, but also her growing feelings for her protector, all while gruesome murders begin to plague the Devil’s Jawbone.
