Wandering Okali is a graphic novel that focuses on fantasy creatures and their biology. It follows Kalops, her best friend Saspi, and eccentric lady Gloria on a global tour across Okali, where they find and learn about exotic animals, wonderful flora, and even mystery beings.
Introduction:
Kalops’ dream has been to write an encyclopedia about Okali’s fauna and plants since she was old enough to read for herself. One day, early in the morning, she chooses to leave the village she has never left before, and encounters a weird old lady who seemed to know a little too much about the world.
Controls for Keyboard:
- To activate the interface and move the dialogue along, press Enter.
- To move the conversation forward without making any selections, press Space.
- To move about the UI, use the Arrow keys.
- You may reach the game menu by pressing Escape.
- Holding down CTRL will allow you to bypass the conversation.
- Toggle conversation skipping by using Tab.
- To return to the previous conversation, use the Page up button.
- Click “Down” to access the dialogue at a later time.
- To hide the user interface, press H.
- To snap a screenshot, press S.
- Toggle assistive self-voicing with V.
- To enter the accessibility menu, use Shift+A.

Lots of art: Feast your eyes on the many painted CGs and backgrounds, the field notes in the style of old scientific illustrations, and the many silly doodles that complete the visuals of the story. Perhaps even an animation or two, once in a while.
Immersive worldbuilding: With the story’s focus on the natural world, you will learn about the tiny bugs and the grasses unique to this world, as well as the giant magical beasts and the ethereal landscapes.
Girls, girls, girls: Most, if not all the characters will be girls (or girl-adjacent). And lesbians, most likely.
A bright and whimsical atmosphere: You can expect to see lots of beautiful, vibrant colors and intricate details!
