Overview:
New Yarn City has been overrun by a group of terrible rats! It is CATCHO MAN’s responsibility to scratch their crooked snouts and kick their butts.
Introduction:
The objective of the brawler/platformer game Catcho Man is to use your mobility to your advantage when competing with other players. To move about and earn style points, combine your battle maneuvers with the surroundings. Once you have enough, go into showdown mode and collect the last of the foes.
Practical Info:
At DAE Howest, Catcho Man was created in a single semester. We are grateful to Tristan Clarysse and Alex Vanden Abele, our supervisors, for their assistance in directing this project.
The entire project was created using Unreal Engine 5, and it works with Xbox controllers as well as keyboard and mouse. It should function nicely on mid-range Windows laptops and desktop computers.
