In 1963, Lucas lives a quiet life in a small town where little ever changes. Each morning, he rises before dawn to open the family bakery, helps care for those he loves, and follows the same familiar routine he has known for years. It is a simple existence, one he has long accepted as his own.

Everything changes when Gaston, a childhood friend who disappeared beyond the town’s borders years ago, suddenly returns. His arrival stirs memories Lucas thought were long buried and awakens feelings he has spent years trying to ignore. As the days pass, Lucas finds himself torn between the life he has always known and the possibility of a future he never allowed himself to imagine.

To me, Come With Me is more than just a story. It is a deeply personal journey about healing, identity, and finding the courage to pursue a life that feels truly your own. At its heart, it explores the tension between obligation and self-discovery, while reminding us that no matter how complicated our past may be, everyone deserves the chance to live authentically.

In many ways, Come With Me reflects both the challenges I face and the hopes I carry with me. Creating this story was an emotional experience, and there were many moments when it moved me to tears.

Life can leave us exhausted. Sometimes the people we love, and the lives we wish to live, feel just out of reach because of fear, expectations, or judgment. My hope is that Lucas’s journey offers comfort to anyone who has ever felt trapped between who they are and who they are expected to be.
