Eggs in a Basket

Eggs in a Basket is a short 2D narrative adventure combining turn-based RPG battles, social simulation, and emotional storytelling. At its heart is a story about creativity, burnout, hardship, and finding your way back to the things that once inspired you.

You play as Lorenzo, a talented painter whose passion for art has slowly faded under the weight of financial struggles and overwhelming expectations. After enrolling in a prestigious art university with little more than an empty canvas and a dwindling dream, he meets a diverse group of young artists who are each dealing with their own struggles surrounding identity, ambition, and creative exhaustion.

Explore a colorful, Philippine-inspired city while balancing university life, personal activities, and relationships. Build a meaningful connection with one of four companions—Haru, Ireneo, Maksim, or Tala. Discover their unique artistic worlds, support them through their personal challenges, and learn how creating together can bring inspiration back to life.

When creativity runs dry, face Artistic Blocks through strategic turn-based battles. Brushes, cameras, musical instruments, and pure imagination become your tools as you fight your way through creative struggles. Every finished piece brings Lorenzo one step closer to rediscovering the passion he thought he had lost.

Because sometimes, the greatest masterpiece you can create is yourself.
