You are in Malenthia, a country that was once powerful and full. Many years ago, Queen Kulviete passed away, marking the end of the Second Era. She and her family gave up, and now fiends—unknown creatures that devour everything in their path—are encroaching on Malenthia’s territory, causing it to collapse. Under the resentful eye of someone named Damaskia, rumors and disturbances turn into an unending argument.
I know you have no memory of this. It must be this way. As the only human amid Creature-Kind, you must learn as you travel across Malenthia. Yours is the power of gods and demons alike, to use reason to put to rest the all-consuming chaos. Within this puzzle of scattered pieces, everything can be connected, if you can bring your mind and heart to bear.
