Vikings of Midgard is a cross between contemporary and vintage RPGs, inspired by those that were published on the Super Nintendo and developed with the OHRRPGCE engine. Constructed over more than 15 years, its purpose was to serve as the engine’s “face” and demonstrate as much of its capabilities as feasible. Vikings honors the iconic role-playing games of the 1990s with its own original soundtrack composed by Artimus Bena and graphics created by Fenrir-Lunaris.
Introduction:
The primordial Jotun and the Aesir Gods engaged in a battle for dominance of the world ages ago. The Aesir began restoring the world to their own preferences after winning the conflict. However, starting over on a faulty foundation is not without its own set of issues, as an unknown evil has crept in to cause chaos and disorder everywhere it goes. Do you have the courage to embark on this quest? Will you be brave enough to defeat evil?
How to Play:

*Move your lead viking on the FIELD
*Move the cursor on menus
*Pick your target in battle
SPACE or ENTER or CTRL
*Investigate the direction you are facing on the FIELD
*Advance character dialogue
*Confirm menu choices
ESC or ALT
*Calls up the menu while you are on the FIELD
*Cancels any choice and backs up one step in menus
*Attempt to flee in battle (ESC only!)
PAUSE
*Pauses the game in battle

*Allows you to sprint on the FIELD when held down
F12
*Take a screenshot
