Introduction:
Along with a number of vibrant, non-human friends, an armored man with a variety of possible identities must lead a princess through a beleaguered country to safety.
That’s just half the tale, of course. Danny, our main character, has been recuperating for the past year after suffering serious injuries in a potentially fatal accident. He leaves the seclusion of his house to join a small club of tabletop players in the library in his town as he approaches his 21st birthday, under some pressure from his father. Danny, who is new to tabletop, discovers that his new pals are as strange as the fictional characters they play.
