Caverns of the Mad Mage

Introduction:
I’ve always wanted to work on a classic roguelike. This is an attempt to create a more traditional fantasy version of the “Escape the Con” that I previously created using rot.js. In order to get the Lemurian Amulet, descend into the caverns while attempting to maintain your humanity.
Advice:
Since I’m trying to stay as true to classic games like Nethack as possible, the game can be challenging at first. If you’re having problems, start with Bitey, entice attackers into a hallway, summon Bitey, then trade places with him and let him tank. If you have the MP to summon him, he can be revived indefinitely, which should give you a level or two.
Features:
- Strength increases melee damage by one damage for every two points.
- Accuracy is affected by DEXTERITY
- Maximum MP and spell efficacy are impacted by intelligence.
- Maximum HP per level and HP regeneration are impacted by endurance.
- Your turn comes around more quickly when you are agile.
- WILLPOWER delays the loss of sanity and lessens skill cooldowns.

More Info:
Hello everyone, this is Bluesquirrel from Castle Nox, Dormaus Valley, and the (defunct) website Blue Squirrel Games.
On Furaffinity, I go by Blueballs, and on Twitter and Bluesky, I go by BlueballsFA.
If you came here anticipating Dormaus Valley, I regret to inform you that the hosting for Dormaus Valley and all of its games was removed after an American organization complained that it included adult content.
I’ll be publishing those older games here whenever I can, but because they use outdated HTML, some of them might not be hostable.
I will update this page with any fresh information about my games!
