Homecoming ~Morenatsu Revisited~ is a visual novel that has a lovely Japanese kemono aesthetic and is about romance, nostalgia, living life to the fullest, meeting up with old friends, and facing your demons.

Morenatsu, the game that Homecoming is based on, is regarded as one of the first furry games. Through fanworks like this, devoted fans have persisted to preserve its legacy despite its cancellation in 2015.

The Stormsinger Studios production team was among the many people who fell in love with the original game, despite its flaws. Our goal is to produce the greatest visual novel we can, honoring the original work that has motivated so many people just like us.

“I haven’t visited my hometown in five years. What happens if they forget who I am? And what if they’ve all moved on?”

You play a young Japanese snow fox (or human, if you fancy) named Hiroyuki Nishimura in Homecoming. Five years after leaving your hometown of Minasato for Osaka, you receive an unexpected letter from an old friend inviting you back for one final summer vacation before finishing your senior year of high school.

To make matters worse, you haven’t gotten in touch with any of your friends over the years, so you accept the invitation despite your nervousness.

When you return to Minasato, what awaits you? Will you be greeted with open arms or have people forgotten about you because it has been so long? Will you finally have the opportunity to discover what makes life worthwhile, or will this summer be just another squandered one?
