Edit: Okay, the excitement has worn off and I’m going to be honest with you. Please brace yourselves before reading idkhmtwwt in full—it’s going to be a mess narratively. I already knew around week two that the story was going to end up all kinds of chaotic, but I just kept pushing to finish it anyway. I was like, “yeah yeah whatever, we’ll deal with that later.”

I got so wrapped up in making the story that I completely forgot about “later,” and… now I’m here facing it.
I can tell this story has a lot of potential, but I don’t think I have the skill yet to give it the execution it truly deserves, so…

Anyway—
Heyyyy omg guys this is my first ever published visual novel, like WHAT???

This VN was made for NovemBuck 2025.
It’s technically just one part out of three (because I definitely took on more than I could handle).

It still turned out better than I expected though.
ididntknowhowmightythewindsweretonight is a story about a Snow Leopard and a Buck trying to navigate their relationship. Sometimes you don’t think to check the weather until the winds are already blowing straight into your face.

My biggest inspiration for this VN is scramz/screamo in general. I’m not sure how well I managed to put that influence in, but it’s one of my all-time favorite genres ever.
Also, later parts of the story deal with some darker themes, so please take caution. More specific content warnings will be included in those sections.
