In the late 22nd century, you are a young adult living in a futuristic America. You once had a life, hopes, and goals, but everything was swept away when you were told you had an incurable illness. Now you’re imprisoned in a hospital, suffering in excruciating pain as you spend the final weeks of your life, unable to comprehend this terrible fate that has befallen you.

When a scientist from the biggest company in the world approaches you one day and offers you the opportunity to escape your dying body and have your mind transferred onto an android “Synthetic” vessel, everything changes. The catch is that no one can tell if the procedure will be successful or not, whether you will survive the Transition or die.

In the end, you accept with little resistance…

NMF is a linear sci-fi visual novel in which you, as an android, travel a high-tech futuristic society, meet a variety of new individuals and rekindle some old acquaintances, and attempt to discover the meaning of your life and your purpose in this new world.

The game tackles serious subjects including existential dread, despair, anxiety, suicide, and death. I suggest that you read the contents of this VN with caution or not play at all if you are depressed or easily overwhelmed by these subjects.

Although certain adult non-explicit jokes are included for comedic effect, the game is completely SFW. This VN does not contain any sexual scenes or provocative content, and it never will.
There are fight scenes in the novel that feature non-graphic depictions of violence.
