You’ll be leaving your life and best friends in New Orleans behind, as you find your own path ahead, flying to Montana for the only college with an arts program you can afford, rebellious of your father’s intransigent plans, no longer ready to be his walking trophy rack.
In an environment of camaraderie, emerging romance, self-acceptance, folklore, and mystery, you will overcome obstacles much more formidable than adjusting to life as a freshman in college and face your suppressed emotions with the help of new companions.
In the slowly developed, realistic, slice-of-life tale Northern Lights, you set out on a quest of discovery with a variety of fascinating characters who are as unaware of the mysteries of their town and forest as you are. You grow closer to them as a result of your common experiences.
Instead of going through your new pals, explore the plot with them. It is your responsibility to concentrate, observe your surroundings, tug on strands, and delve deeply to get the answers.
