Introduction:
Press Z to begin.
While playing Void Stranger, a conversation about our first Sokoban games came up, and I mentioned Kwirk (also known as Puzzle Boy), a game I adored as a kid when it first released. Revisiting it sparked a deep dive that rekindled my love for it, which eventually led me to port it to Picotron—and ultimately create this project. It blends elements I love from both Kwirk and Void Stranger (and more), while also featuring character customization, something I’ve always wanted to include.
You can try the demo for free above, but the full version offers 40 levels compared to the demo’s 20.
This isn’t meant to be finished in one sitting—later stages can take over an hour, as testers found. The difficulty ramps up gradually, but since “easy” and “hard” vary from player to player, don’t be discouraged if you get stuck. In the full release, all levels are unlocked, and completion is tracked at the end of each stage, so you can skip around or take breaks.
Controls have some quirks due to Picotron’s limitations—the game can be played one-handed on the right side of a gamepad—but this should still make it more accessible overall. Window resizing may occasionally freeze gameplay, another Picotron issue that I’ll update if fixed.

More Information:
Easy Peazy Games, Maya Zimmerman, Fantastic Fox—that’s all me. Why so many names? Honestly, I’m not even sure how it ended up this way.
Most of these projects came to life with the help of some truly amazing people, and I feel lucky to have had the chance to work alongside such talent.
