Total Blackout

GENRES
Introduction:
The distinction between digital and physical has vanished; websites and apps occupy actual space, and commonplace objects and structures can be used to store memories like music and images. In order to extract every single penny from every person on the earth, the business employs this to monitor and control every element of existence. A total blackout is needed to overthrow the current system and restore technology to benefit humanity rather than oppress it.
About the development
We started Total Blackout with the intention of developing a Minimum Viable Product to pitch to publishers and maybe sell. However, after many setbacks, we’ve decided to stop working on it and release it as-is. Expect some lack of polish, but give it a try! The game is more than playable and has enough content to keep you playing for a few hours!
Features of the Game:
Mix melee and guns
Seamlessly switch between hitting enemies with a bat and blasting them with a shotgun – or both at the same time!
Over a hundred upgrades
Explode enemies on hit, blast them with lightning, return their bullets back at them and much more! Every upgrade has its own use and dynamically interacts with the rest of them to let you find your very own way of breaking the game in half!
Emergent gameplay
The rules apply fairly and transparently – which means that you can exploit them! Find the edge cases and interactions on purpose or accidentally and use them to turn the tables on the enemy!
Robotic dogs
They bork at enemies. Pet them to make them bork faster. Buy as many as you want!
